Gosh Still at It. Quite proud of myself really. I have done the CG (curly girl) method for at least most of this time, but now succumbed to a twist out. I found that the CG was getting quite curly all around. But the hair by my temples (where the 'bang's hang) are really really tightly curly. To be honest I got quite fed up with 'waiting' for it to relax a little and drop.
Must admit though my hair has grown some, but for now I'm on the shea butter and mixed oils to keep the hair soft and reveal a shiny twist out...
Not really sure of the type hair thing, but I suppose I'm a 4b-c with mainly loose curls on the crown of my head. Going to persevere though and do need to put up some pics.. You lot might feel I'm making this up. Perish the thought!! See you next week...

Week 2 of the Natural Challenge
Ok world, I am pleased with myself as I seem to be taking this challenge a lot more seriously than I thought.. A good thing methinks! I've seen results so far in that I've maintained a regular regime of hair care (and to be honest its tempting not become a product junkie..). However, this is my wash & go challenge week and I will attempt to post some piccies of the results. The only way I will change to a protective style is if the weather turns bad! Well I live in the UK so anything is possible. lol.
My hair care regime is a damping of my hair every evening (before bed), and adding a moisture cream and my concoction of oils, before twisting. I mean when I get up hair is shining and manageable. Have been trying out Entwine styles (i.e mostly up do's!), which is good for work.

1st Week Natural Hair Growth Challenge with Curls of Joy
Well blog world, this is my first attempt at a natural hair challenge and I'm thinking why all this time spent when a hairdresser could do it in half the time. You know, it's so good to get to know my own hair and I'm trying to conquer this wash & go style without ending up with dried out curls. Day 2 after attempting a wash and go is no joke. The Vlogs on natural hair seem so saturated with so many different methods of maintenance.
Yes and I do have a bit of colour in their which doesn't help the hair re dryness... Any suggestions out there... This week I'm determined to keep my hair in mini twists, which I've just finished doing (took me just over an hour!)... speak to me natural hair sisters!
